How to reach Würzburg

Würzburg can be conveniently reached by train (the train station is a hub for high-speed ICE trains in the north/south as well as the east/west direction), also from the airports of Frankfurt (1.5 hrs by train directly from the airport to Würzburg), Nuremberg (1.5 hrs, first by subway to Nuremberg main station and then by train to Würzburg), and Munich (2 h, first by subway to Munich main station and then by train to Würzburg).

If you want to take the car beware of the notoriously congested Autobahn A3. A route-plan can be generated here.

Parking facilities

are available around the Congress Center (expensive). If you come for the day and don't mind a 10 min walk we recommend the "Talavera-Wiese" as a free parking-lot.
