How to reach Würzburg

Würzburg can be conveniently reached by train (the train station is a hub for high-speed
ICE trains in the north/south as well as the east/west direction), also from the airports of
Frankfurt (1.5 hrs by train directly from the airport to Würzburg) and Nuremberg
(1.5 hrs, first by subway to Nuremberg main station and then by train to Würzburg).

If you want to take the car beware of the notoriously congested Autobahn A3.
